A new photography exhibit has encouraged Nashville residents to take a closer look at the people who live and work to make the city all that it is.
For most people who walk down the streets of Nashville every day the people they see are just a blur, quick glances and friendly smiles. But to Carter Andrews, every person is a portrait.
“I love shooting portraits. No one expects to have the photo taken when they walk out of the house. My method is I can get your picture in thirty seconds and be done,” said Andrews.

Nashville Zoo plans easter fun

Fans of family fun, animals and forced wordplay will abound to the 12th annual “Eggstravaganzoo” at the Nashville Zoo this Saturday.
The zoo has prepared a day of activity including games, animal exhibits and more for what has become the city’s largest Easter egg hunt. It takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
