Nashville Celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr.

From coast to coast, cities and towns paid tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Junior on what would have been his 83rd birthday. In Nashville residents attended lectures, participated in service events and marched in his honor. Many people spent the holiday giving back to the community- doing what Dr. King was all about :giving back to make the lives of others better.

Hundreds of others joined in on the annual MLK march in North Nashville. It was raining , but that did not stop people from showing up to honor the legacy of social justice for all mankind that Dr. King died for. Traditionally Nashville has one of the largest MLK marches in the county.
